Best-selling writer for children and TV personality David Walliams has been dropped by his publisher HarperCollins UK, as confirmed by the firm.
A representative for the firm said: "Following a thorough review, and with the guidance of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing any new titles by David Walliams."
Media sources suggest that the conclusion was made after an review of claims about questionable actions involving women.
The publisher did not confirm the motivations for this action, stating: "We do not comment on internal matters."
Walliams stands as a most best-selling authors for kids, having sold more than 60 million copies worldwide in five dozen languages.
His first children's book, *The Boy in the Dress*, came out under HarperCollins fifteen years ago.
A number of his books, for example *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have found new life as small-screen adaptations.
He has published in excess of 40 works altogether, encompassing a festive story named *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins in October.
His career breakthrough occurred on the television comedy show *Little Britain* and has been honored with National Television Awards for his role as a panelist on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He received an OBE several years ago for his services to charity and the arts.
This move occurs subsequent to the appointment of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's recent CEO last fall.
