Barcelona have announced they will play at the partially upgraded Camp Nou over the weekend. Athletic Bilbao will visit the Bilbao team in La Liga over two years following their departure for construction to commence.

Not all seats will be available but 45,401 spectators will be allowed to watch under the licence granted. After final construction, the stadium’s capacity will reach close to 105,000 fans, a rise from the old capacity. Officials confirmed completed upgrades featured an updated entryway for the team plus modern locker rooms.
Barça organized a fan-accessible workout on the home pitch on 7 November. The club said they were hoping for permission from Uefa for their upcoming Champions League fixture facing Eintracht on 9 December in the renovated venue. They have been hosting matches at the Olympic Stadium.
